What to tell us when you get in touch

A few details up front help us understand the job before we arrive, so the visit is useful and the quote comes together sooner.

  • The address and postcode of the property, so we know where we're going.
  • What's wrong: a leak, slipped or missing slates, a damp patch on the ceiling, gutters overflowing or dripping, moss on the roof.
  • The roof type: slate, tile or flat, if you know. Tell us if it's a garage or extension roof too.
  • Photos attached to the email: from the ground, a window or the loft is fine. Please don't go up a ladder to take them.

What happens next

From your message to a written quote

  1. We call you back

We get in touch to talk about the problem and arrange a time to visit.

  2. We visit and inspect

We look at the roof, flashing and gutters and find out what is actually causing the problem. We look at repairing first and only recommend a new roof where absolutely necessary.

  3. You get a written quote

It sets out the work we recommend and the materials we'll use, so you know exactly what you're agreeing to.

Wondering what to expect? Read our roofing FAQs or see the roofing services we offer.
