Where we start
A lot of the roofs we get called to are older slate with dark moss across the pitches, weathered ridges and gutters that need clearing.
Moss on its own isn't always a disaster, but it holds water against the slates, works its way into joints and washes down into the gutters until they block and overflow. Left long enough, that's when the damp patches appear inside.
