What we do
Most of our work is for homeowners. We repair roofs, fix and fit gutters, clean roofs and repair slate, and we take on full new roofs when one is really needed.
Tile, slate and flat roofs, plus chimney repairs and leak detection. That covers everything from a couple of tiles needing replacing to storm damage.
Slipped, cracked and missing slates replaced, with lead flashing renewed around chimneys, valleys and abutments.
Full slate, tile and flat roof replacements. We use breathable roofing membrane, treated battens and eaves protection trays.
New gutter installation, gutter repairs, resealing leaking joints and gutter cleaning, so rainwater goes where it should.
Moss and algae removed from slate and tiled roofs before it blocks gutters and holds water against the roof.
Repairs to existing fascias and soffits, or complete roofline replacement. We also do roughcasting and sandstone work.
Our approach
We will only recommend a new roof where absolutely necessary.
A lot of roofs in Glasgow and Ayrshire are older slate roofs that still have years left in them. Often the problem is a few broken slates, tired lead flashing or a blocked valley, and fixing those properly costs far less than a new roof.
When we look at your roof, we tell you what is causing the problem and what it will take to fix it. If replacing the roof really is the sensible choice, we'll explain why.

We come out and look at the roof, gutters and flashing, and find out what is actually causing the problem.
The quote sets out the work we recommend and the materials we'll use, so you know exactly what you're agreeing to.
We repair or renew the roof using slates, tiles, lead flashing, breathable membrane and treated timber, depending on what the job needs.
